Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lanruo Lake in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, the design draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape and the timeless silhouette of the traditional Shaoxing Wupeng boat. Reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, these references shape a modern retreat that remains deeply rooted in its sense of place.

Sculptural forms inspired by nature are paired with bamboo and timber ceilings, creating a warm, tactile dialogue between architecture, material and the landscape beyond.
