Song Gye Ok
Collaboration with Initia Group A quiet translation of heritage into space and experience. Originating from Seongsu, Seoul, Song Gye Ok has become one of Korea’s most sought-after dining destinations, known for its precise dedication to chicken specialty cuts and its deeply restorative Samgyetang.
At its heart is a singular focus: honouring the whole chicken through six distinct cuts, each prepared with intention, alongside a slow-cooked ginseng broth that unfolds in depth and clarity over time. In Singapore, this legacy continues to be carried through the same recipes, premium ingredients, and a hospitality that feels both grounded and generous.
Drawing from traditional Hanok elements, the design reinterprets Korean spatial language through a contemporary lens where timber, proportion, and light come together in quiet restraint. The result is a setting that feels both rooted and refined.
A place where modern city life softens, and dining becomes an immersive, almost restorative ritual. At Song Gye Ok, the interior and cuisine move in parallel each shaped by patience, precision, and a respect for what is essential.
